Sterlite Tech, A2Z secure orders worth Rs 24 bn from BSNL

Sterlite Technologies along with A2Z Maintenance & Engineering Services as its EPC partner has received the APO from BSNL for J&K region. The company also secured EPS work order for Eastern and North-Eeastern region for above said OFC projects from ITI. The orders will aggregate to approx. Rs 24 billion.

The company received orders for trenching, laying, installation, testing of optical fiber cable, PLB Duct and accessories for construction of exclusive optical NLD Backbone and Optical Access routes on turkey basis for defence  network.

In addition to the above, further Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) orders worth Rs 9 billion will also be released, aggregating total value of orders to approx. Rs 33 billion.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.90, or 4.97%, to settle at Rs 19. The total volume of shares traded was 309,643 at the BSE (Tuesday).
