Ashok Leyland, the commercial vehicle manufacturer, has reported an increase of 7% in sales in June 2014 to 7,452 units as against 6,970 units sold in the same period of last year.
 
The company experienced a rise of 17% in its M&HCV products segment to 5,542 units in June.
 
While the company's large commercial vehicle witnessed a drop of 15% to 1,910 units in June.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.25, or 0.68%, to settle at Rs 36.75 at the BSE (Tuesday).
