Post general elections, sentiments have improved driving higher inquiries and step-up in conversions, particularly in PVs and MHCVs.

Maruti Suzuki to continue to report robust 20% YoY growth in wholesales at 101k units for Jun-14 on favorable base with signs of first time buyers returning.

''Within two-wheelers, expect TVS to continue to report strong 24% growth. Recently launched Star City motorcycle is under waiting in major markets. Decline in Bajaj Auto's domestic 2W volumes expected to narrow on favorable base, though we are yet to see major improvement in Discover portfolio,'' it said.

''Fleet operators' utilization levels are improving together with increase in freight rates. MHCV demand is showing signs of pick-up, particularly in tippers (construction trucks) category. Atul Auto is expected to be key beneficiary. We like Maruti Suzuki and Hero Motocorp in large caps. In mid-caps we like TVS and Atul Auto,'' it opined.
