GAIL (India), the largest gas transmission and marketing company in India, fell on Friday after media reports quoted that at least 15 people have been killed in an explosion at a gas pipeline owned by the company in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 454.50, down Rs 5.25, or 1.14% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 12:27 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 461.05 and low of Rs 451.25. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 111,907.
