IRB Infrastructure Developers, a highway construction company, climbed on Wednesday after media reports quoted that Road Minister Nitin Gadkari saying that India plans to raise road-building capacity to 30 kms per day in two years from the present three kilometres.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 226.55, up Rs 10.15, or 4.69% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 2:27 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 229.40 and low of Rs 218.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 972,792.
