Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), an integrated power plant equipment manufacturer, gained on Tuesday after it organized an lndustry-Academia meet at its Corporate Research & Development (R&D) division at Hyderabad.
Leading academicians from lndian lnstitutes of Technology (llTs) at Kanpur, Delhi, Mumbai, Kharagpur, Roorkee, Guwahati, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Patna, Jodhpur, Bhirbhaneswar and the lndian lnstitute of Science (llSc) participated in the meet and presented their areas of strength, possible synergy, nature of on-going research activities and relevance to BHEL.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 250, up Rs 5.65, or 2.31% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 12:37 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 249.65 and low of Rs 245. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 340,569.
