The Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals today announced that it has received approval from the USFDA for its ANDA (abbreviated new drug application) for Eszopiclone Tablets, 1 mg, 2 mg and 3 mg strengths.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Jun. 18, 2014, falling 18.47% compared with the Sensex's 4.66% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 22.59% as against 15.64% rise in the Sensex.
