PVR, the largest multiplex operator in India, announced the opening of another multiplex today at ''Bharti Pavilion Mall, Ludhiana,'' in the state of Punjab.

With the opening of this multiplex at ''Ludhiana'', the total screens count has gone upto 434 screens at 99 locations across 42 cities in 14 states and 1 union territory.

Shares of the company gained Rs 69.05, or 11.48%, to settle at Rs 670.55. The total volume of shares traded was 94,880 at the BSE (Thursday).
