Suzlon Group today announced that it has received the notice to proceed (NTP) from CLP India for a 100.8 MW wind power project. The project, located at Tejuva in Rajasthan, will comprise 48 units of Suzlon's robust S97-2.1 MW wind turbines featuring doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) technology.
Tulsi Tanti, chairman, Suzlon Group said, "This contract is another milestone for our business in India. Through our comprehensive capabilities across wide energy value chain and end-to-end solutions, we will assist CLP India in further expanding their wind energy footprint in India. We appreciate the trust they have in our technology and look forward to a long-term collaboration."
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.20, or 0.71%, to trade at Rs 28.45 at the BSE (10.01 a.m., Thursday).
