Larsen & Toubro said Friday its construction arm has bagged new orders worth Rs 10.27 billion across various segments in May and June 2014.

The buildings and factories business has bagged orders worth Rs 9.67 billion. In addition, it has bagged orders worth Rs 600 million from various ongoing jobs of heavy civil infrastructure, power transmission & distribution and water & renewable energy business.

Shares of the company declined Rs 10.2, or 0.59%, to trade at Rs 1,708.70. The total volume of shares traded was 107,614 at the BSE (1.15 p.m., Friday).
