Tata Motors shares fell on Friday after it reported a fall of 5.15% in group global wholesales in May 2014, including Jaguar Land Rover. Sales volume stood at 77,575 units in May as compared with 81,783 units for the same period in the previous year. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 152,601 units.
Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles, Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range, were 29,161 units. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 56,215 units.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 446.25, down Rs 3.4, or 0.76% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 9:46 a.m. In the earlier session, the shares climbed 0.91%, or Rs 4.05, at Rs 449.65.
