KEC International bags orders worth Rs 12.09 bn

KEC International, a RPG Group infrastructure EPC major, has secured new orders worth Rs 12.09 billion in its transmission & distribution and cables businesses.

In transmission and distribution businesses, the company has secured orders from Saudi Arabia, Uganda, India and the Americas amounting to Rs 11.26 billion.

In cable business, the company has bagged contracts for the supply of power and telecom cables. The total value of these orders is Rs 830 million.

Shares of the company gained Rs 3.35, or 2.72%, to trade at Rs 126.70. The total volume of shares traded was 247,337 at the BSE (12.34 p.m., Thursday).
