IL&FS Transportation Networks shares jumped on Thursday after the company has raised stake from 14.5% to 49% in the share capital of Srinagar Sonmarg Tunnel way, a company promoted by SOMA Enterprise (SOMA).
Further, the company said it wil undertake the construction, operation and maintenance of Z-Morh Tunnel including approaches on National Highway No 1 in the State of Jammu & Kashmir on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) annuity basis.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 209.65, up Rs 4.7, or 2.29% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 11:08 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 210.90 and low of Rs 201.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 12,168.
In the earlier session, the shares gained 5.05%, or Rs 9.85, at Rs 204.95.
Currently, the stock is trading down 9.16% from its 52-week high of Rs 230.80 and above 123.79% over the 52-week low of Rs 93.68.
