Dr Reddys Laboratories, an integrated global pharmaceutical company, announced that the nomination, governance & compensation committee of the board of directors of the company has allotted 170,140 equity shares of Rs 5 each of the company, fully paid up, on Jun. 02, 2014, to employees.

The board of directors has allotted 151,711 equity shares of Rs 5 each pursuant to Dr Reddy's Employees Stock Option Scheme, 2002.

Also allotted 18,429 equity shares of Rs 5 each underlying 18,429 ADRs pursuant to Dr Reddy's Employees ADR Stock Option Scheme, 2007.

Shares of the company declined Rs 47, or 1.95%, to trade at Rs 2,367. The total volume of shares traded was 6,964 at the BSE (11.31 a.m., Tuesday).
