TVS Motor Company, one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in India, recorded a 27% growth in sales during the month of May 2014 to 210,293 units from 165,151 units in the month of May 2013.

The company's total exports grew by 42% with sales increasing from 24,393 units in the month of May 2013 to 34,623 units in May 2014.

Two wheeler exports registered a growth of 40% with sales increasing from 19,290 units in May 2013 to 27,000 units in May 2014.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.2, or 0.92%, to trade at Rs 131.30. The total volume of shares traded was 602,492 at the BSE (1.19 p.m., Monday).
