Confidence Petroleum India disclosed a sharp rise in net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.08 times to Rs 21.10 million from Rs 10.14 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 20.17% to Rs 691.79 million, compared with Rs 576 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.08, registering 100.00% growth over previous year period.
