Bajaj Auto, one of the leading 2 and 3 wheeler makers, announced a rise of 4% in sales to 351,436 units in May compared to 339,348 units sold in last year period.
 
Motorcycle sales has also increased by 3% from a year ago to 313,020 units, while commercial vehicle sales were up 11% to 38,416 units.

Shares of the company gained Rs 21.9, or 1.12%, to trade at Rs 1,975.05. The total volume of shares traded was 4,585 at the BSE (9.32 a.m., Monday).
