APL Apollo Tubes disclosed a sharp drop in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 13.64% to Rs 141.50 million from Rs 163.85 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 20.54% to Rs 6,736.35 million, compared with Rs 5,588 million for the prior year period.
