Vivimed Labs said a steep drop in net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 26.34% to Rs 110.42 million from Rs 149.89 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 25.65% to Rs 3,720.77 million, compared with Rs 2,961 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 6.81, registering 27.01% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company declined Rs 10.85, or 4.1%, to trade at Rs 254.00. The total volume of shares traded was 17,671 at the BSE (3.26 p.m., Friday).
