Royal Orchid Hotels swung to a profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the company reported a profit of Rs 63.22 million compared with a loss of Rs 249.06 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter declined 18.54% to Rs 401.49 million, compared with Rs 492.89 million for the prior year period. Earnings per share stood at Rs 2.32 compared with negative Rs 9.15 in the same quarter last year.
