Oil & Natural Gas Corporation disclosed a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 44.27% to Rs 48,890.00 million from Rs 33,887.10 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 2.37% to Rs 213,130.90 million, compared with Rs 218,298.60 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 5.71, registering 44.19% growth over previous year period.
