Unitech, real estate developer in India, declined on Thursday after it swung to a loss for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 515.51 million compared with a profit of Rs 301.32 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 21.82% to Rs 10,333.12 million, compared with Rs 8,483 million for the prior year period.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 27.40, down Rs 0.55, or 1.97% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 12:23 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 27.60 and low of Rs 26.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 3,691,006.
In the earlier session, the shares gained 6.07%, or Rs 1.6, at Rs 27.95. Currently, the stock is trading down 13.02% from its 52-week high of Rs 31.50 and above 152.3% over the 52-week low of Rs 10.86.
