Triveni Engineering & Industries fell on Thursday after its net loss for the quarter ended March 2014 has widened to Rs 622.70. It reported a net loss of Rs 213.40 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 21.82% to Rs 4,569.50 million, compared with Rs 5,844.70 million for the prior year period.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 21.10, down Rs 0.85, or 3.87% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 11:44 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 23.50 and low of Rs 20.85. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 37,574.
In the earlier session, the shares gained 2.57%, or Rs 0.55, at Rs 21.95. Currently, the stock is trading down 18.85% from its 52-week high of Rs 26 and above 106.26% over the 52-week low of Rs 10.23.
