HDFC Bank said that the bank has allotted 40,50,750 equity shares to the employees of the bank pursuant to exercise of options under its Employees Stock Options Schemes (ESOS).

The paid up share capital of the bank will accordingly increase from Rs 48,02,071,120 equity shares of Rs 2 each to Rs 4,81,01,72,620 equity shares of Rs 2 each.

Shares of the bank declined Rs 3.8, or 0.48%, to trade at Rs 794.50. The total volume of shares traded was 45,298 at the BSE (11.21 a.m., Tuesday).
