Realty stocks plunged in a strong market on Monday. Sensex was trading up 246.84 points or 1% at 24,940.19 with 20 components gaining.

Narendra Modi will be sworn in as the 15th prime minister of the country today along with announcement of his small but powerful cabinet.

Realty index was at 1,911.78, down by 65.18 points or by 3.3%.

The major losers were Anant Raj (8.87%), Housing Development and Infrastructure (8.42%) and DB Realty (7.22%)..
