KEC International announced that the company has bagged new orders worth Rs 4,370 million in its transmission and cable business.

In transmission and distribution business the company has bagged orders in UAE, Oman, Kenya and the Americas worth Rs 3,730 million.

While in cable business it has bagged order worth Rs 640 million for the supply of power and telecom cables.

Shares of the company gained Rs 8.2, or 6.95%, to trade at Rs 126.15. The total volume of shares traded was 168,609 at the BSE (12.10 p.m., Monday).
