Larsen & Toubro (L&T), an engineering and construction conglomerate, Reliance Infrastructure, one of the largest infrastructure companies and Sadbhav Engineering, an engineering construction company, jumped on Monday after National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) approved Rs 59.6 billion of premium deferment for 9 road projects, including L&T and Reliance Infrastructure.
The board of NHAI met on Friday and gave a final approval to the nine applications. The deferment would be available from 2014-15 till 2026-27, with the deferment granted during 2014-15 amounting to Rs 6.51 billion.
Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Infrastructure and Sadbhav Engineering jumped on Monday 5.52%, 3.28% and 6.26% respectively.
