Sadbhav Engineering, a civil engineering construction company based in Ahmedabad, announced that the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has approved 2 proposals for deferment of premium of the company.
The proposal includes Hyderabad-Yadgiri 4 laning and Rothak-Panipat 4 laning.
"This step would give huge comfort to the lenders as debt obligation would now get priority over the premium payable to NHAI. NHAI would be able to recover the deferred premium with interest in the latter period of the concession. The deferment shall be limited to the actual revenue shortfall after meeting the debt obligation and operation expenditure," the company said.
Shares of the company gained Rs 14.6, or 8.17%, to trade at Rs 193.40. The total volume of shares traded was 114,829 at the BSE (11.39 a.m., Monday).
