Ramco Cements, disclosed a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 61.04% to Rs 249.90 million from Rs 641.50 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose marginally 2.74% to Rs 9,873.10 million, compared with Rs 9,610 million for the prior year period.
