Gati, engaged in express distribution and supply chain solution, climbed on Wednesday after Macquarie Bank bought 1.18% stake in the company for Rs 99.52 million on the NSE.
It has purchased 1.03 million shares at an average price of Rs 97.02.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 99.20, up Rs 3.15, or 3.28% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 1:34 p.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 103.75 and low of Rs 97. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 1,301,420.
In the earlier session, the shares rose 7.08%, or Rs 6.35, at Rs 96.05. Currently, the stock is trading down 1.78% from its 52-week high of Rs 101 and above 337.97% over the 52-week low of Rs 22.65.
