Jet Airways enhances connectivity from Delhi to Kathmandu

Jet Airways announced the enhancement of a third daily frequency from Delhi to Kathmandu with the introduction of a third daily Boeing 737 flight, effective May 23, 2014.

The new Jet Airways morning service, flight 9W 260 will depart Delhi daily at 1200 hrs and arrive in Kathmandu at 1400 hrs (Local Time). 

On the return, flight 9W 259 will depart Kathmandu at 1500 hrs (LT) and arrive in Delhi at 1630 hrs (LT), providing onward connection on the airline’s network. The additional flight will complement the daily flights being operated between these two destinations by Jet Airways.
 
Gaurang Shetty, senior vice president - commercial, Jet Airways said, "Jet Airways is happy to introduce a third service on the highly popular Delhi-Kathmandu route following an increased demand due to tourist traffic. With the introduction of this additional morning service, we aim to popularize this amongst guests seeking a holiday break. The new flight would also help in connecting our guests flying into and from Delhi to Kathmandu and vice- versa on to our domestic and international network."

Shares of the company gained Rs 3.7, or 1.4%, to settle at Rs 268.50. The total volume of shares traded was 582,086 at the BSE (Tuesday).
