Wipro, one of the leading software exporters, gained on Tuesday after the company announced a strategic partnership with Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, the largest pharmaceutical company in Japan and one of the global leaders of the industry.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 493.55, up Rs 12.05, or 2.50% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 9:46 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 494 and low of Rs 485.55. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 71,130.
In the earlier session, the shares fell 4.25%, or Rs 21.35, at Rs 481.50. Currently, the stock is trading down 19.16% from its 52-week high of Rs 610.50 and above 56.53% over the 52-week low of Rs 315.30.
