E C E Industries said a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.00 times to Rs 36.71 million from Rs 12.24 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 18.65% to Rs 304.55 million, compared with Rs 374.38 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 4.75, registering 3.01 times growth over previous year period.
