Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 25.41% to Rs 5,298.00 million from Rs 7,103.10 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 7.76% to Rs 11,158.60 million, compared with Rs 10,355 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.56, registering 27.89% decline over previous year period.
