Novartis selects HCL Tech for global infra management

HCL Technologies, announced that it has been selected by Novartis, the leading healthcare companies, to provide global infrastructure management services.

Novartis will leverage HCL's global delivery model for remote infrastructure management services across its entire data centre landscape, covering more than 70 countries across six continents.

''This partnership creates an environment of continuous service improvement, transformation and innovation,'' said Ashish Gupta, executive vice president and head of infrastructure services, EMEA, HCL Technologies.

"This is a great recognition of HCL's capabilities in remote infrastructure management. Our outcome-based business models, best practices and tools deliver proven value and cost savings that help our clients to be more competitive and responsive to changing market dynamics. Our commitment to building a relationship beyond the contract will ensure our collaborative engagement with Novartis will benefit both parties for years to come." 

Shares of the company gained Rs 26.3, or 1.89%, to trade at Rs 1,416. The total volume of shares traded was 21,439 at the BSE (10.45 a.m., Tuesday).
