S M L Isuzu said a sharp drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 18.10% to Rs 0.77 million from Rs 0.94 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 19.65% to Rs 22.43 million, compared with Rs 27.92 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 5.34, registering 18.35% decline over previous year period.
