ACC announced a marginal decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 8.90% to Rs 3,987.30 million from Rs 4,377.00 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose marginally 2.56% to Rs 30,265.20 million, compared with Rs 29,509 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 21.19, registering 8.86% decline over previous year period.
