Indian rupee has depreciated on Wednesday against US dollar. Indian currency declined 0.31 paise or 0.50 percent against dollar to trade at 61.07 (12.04 pm).

Rupee has witnessed a high of 61.08 and a low of 60.87. Its 52-week range was 68.84-53.66.

The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, 0.11 percent to trade at 79.79.

Rupee declined 0.55 paise or 0.66 percent against the Euro to trade at 84.49.

Rupee fell 0.53 paise or 0.52 percent against the UK pound to trade at 102.76.
