Gold and silver futures are trading higher on Tuesday. Gold futures for May 2014 went up 0.14% at USD 1289.9 per troy ounce at the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. 

However, Comex Silver futures for May 2014 was up 0.15% at USD 19.38 per troy ounce (12.35 p.m.).

In India, June 2014 gold futures at the MCX were trading up 0.21% at Rs 28,588 per 10 grams at 12.50 p.m. It opened at Rs 28,536.

May 2014 silver futures at the MCX were trading up 0.31% at Rs 41,156 per 1 kg after hitting high of Rs 42,190. It opened at Rs 42,002.
