Most Asian stock markets settled lower on Monday
Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 declined 3.89 points or 0.03 percent to settle at 14,512.38. The index has witnessed a high of 14,649.50 and a low of 14,503.17 after opening at 14,549.45.
Nikkei 225's 52-week range was 12,415.80-16,320.20. Currently, the index is up 16.89 percent from 52-week low and down 11.08 percent from 52-week high.
While China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite fell 31.92 points or 1.52 percent to close at 2,065.83. The index has registered a high of 2,103.08 and a low of 2,065.23 after opening at 2,085.98.
The Shanghai Composite's 52-week range was 1,950.01-2,324.02. Currently, the index is up 5.94 percent from 52-week low and down 11.11 percent from 52-week high.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 64.23 points or 0.28 percent to end at 22,760.24. The index has recorded a high of 22,858.79 and a low of 22,657.95 after opening at 22,858.79.
Hang Seng's 52-week range was 19,426.40-24,111.60. Currently, the index is up 17.16 percent from 52-week low and down 5.6 percent from 52-week high.
Singapore's Straits Times gained 2.41 points or 0.07 percent to end at 3,255.61. The index has witnessed a high of 3,264.21 and a low of 3,250.91 after opening at 3,260.78.
