Gold and silver futures are trading lower on Monday. Gold futures for May 2014 went down 0.54% at USD 1,286.6 per troy ounce at the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. 

However, Comex Silver futures for May 2014 was down 1.43% at USD 19.31 per troy ounce (12.53 p.m.).

In India, June 2014 gold futures at the MCX were trading down 0.58% at Rs 28,341 per 10 grams at 12.42 p.m. It opened at Rs 28,425.

May 2014 silver futures at the MCX were trading down 1.31% at Rs 41,820 per 1 kg after hitting high of Rs 42,250. It opened at Rs 42,250.
