Cheslind Textiles disclosed a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 54.14% to Rs 15.50 million from Rs 33.80 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 25.44% to Rs 684.40 million, compared with Rs 546 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.34, registering 54.67% decline over previous year period.
