Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in KEC International. FIIs shareholding increased 21 bps to 2.66% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 2.45% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors' (DIIs) shareholding went down to 33.17% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 33.33% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
Under DIIs, mutual funds / UTI held maximum stake of 27.14%, followed by insurance companies (4% stake) and financial institutions / banks (2.03% stake).
Meanwhile, promoter and promoter group shareholding increased to 49.41% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 48.16% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1, or 1.34%, to settle at Rs 75.35. The total volume of shares traded was 68,856 at the BSE (Thursday).
