Reliance Industries (RIL) announced on Thursday that the company has allotted 95,981 equity shares of Rs 10 each, on Apr. 15, 2014, pursuant to the Employees Stock Option Scheme (ESOS).

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Apr. 16, 2014, falling 4.04% compared with the Sensex's 2.14% rise.

It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 2.42% as against 4.76% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 17.7, or 1.88%, to settle at Rs 958.75. The total volume of shares traded was 354,067 at the BSE (Thursday).
