Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). FIIs shareholding decreased 22 bps to 16.11% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 16.33% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors' (DIIs) shareholding went up to 5.37% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 5.26% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
Under DIIs, Insurance companies held maximum stake of 4.07%, followed by mutual funds / UTI (1.26% stake), central government / state government (0.02% stake) and financial institutions / banks (0.02% stake).
Meanwhile, promoter and promoter group shareholding was unchanged at 73.90% at the end of March 2014 quarter.
Shares of the company gained Rs 22.45, or 1.02%, to settle at Rs 2,217.45. The total volume of shares traded was 297,202 at the BSE (Thursday).
