Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have reduced shareholding in Bajaj Auto. FIIs shareholding decreased to 18.67% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 18.68% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors' (DIIs) shareholding went down to 7.01% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 6.91% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
Under DIIs, Insurance companies held maximum stake of 6.04%, followed by mutual funds / UTI (0.60% stake) and financial institutions / banks (0.37% stake).
Meanwhile, promoter and promoter group shareholding was unchanged at 50.02% at the end of March 2014 quarter.
Shares of the company gained Rs 13, or 0.65%, to settle at Rs 2,013.40. The total volume of shares traded was 52,923 at the BSE (Thursday).
