Most Asian stock markets settled lower on Thursday.

Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 0.15 points to settle at 14,417.53. The index has recorded a high of 14,500.66 and a low of 14,351.85 after opening at 14,395.95.

Nikkei 225's 52-week range was 12,415.80-16,320.20. Currently, the index is up 16.12 percent from 52-week low and down 11.66 percent from 52-week high.

While China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite fell 6.24 points or 0.3 percent to close at 2,098.88. The index has witnessed a high of 2,110.72 and a low of 2,095.71 after opening at 2,108.95.

The Shanghai Composite's 52-week range was 1,950.01-2,324.02. Currently, the index is up 7.63 percent from 52-week low and down 9.69 percent from 52-week high.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 64.23 points or 0.28 percent to end at 22,760.24. The index has seen a high of 22,858.79 and a low of 22,657.95 after opening at 22,858.79.

Hang Seng's 52-week range was 19,426.40-24,111.60. Currently, the index is up 17.16 percent from 52-week low and down 5.6 percent from 52-week high.

Singapore's Straits Times lost 2.38 points or 0.07 percent to end at 3,250.82. The index has registered a high of 3,259.07 and a low of 3,246.66 after opening at 3,257.52.

Straits Times' 52-week range was 2,953.01-3,464.79. Currently, the index is up 10.08 percent from 52-week low and down 6.18 percent from 52-week high.

South Korea's KOSPI declined 0.16 points or 0.01 percent to end at 1,992.05. The index has recorded a high of 2,001.29 and a low of 1,984.98 after opening at 2,000.47.

KOSPI's 52-week range was 1,770.53-2,063.28. Currently, the index is up 12.51 percent from 52-week low and down 3.45 percent from 52-week high.

Taiwan's TAIEX went up 20.34 points or 0.23 percent to end at 8,944.16. The index has seen a high of 8,962.66 and a low of 8,921.56 after opening at 8,942.23.

TAIEX's 52-week range was 7,663.23-8,978.52. Currently, the index is up 16.7 percent from 52-week low and down 0.38 percent from 52-week high.
