MindTree shares jumped on Thursday after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly results. It has earned profit of Rs 982 million, representing a rise 24.5% while revenues went up 34.5% to Rs 8,237 million for the fourth quarter.

On quarter on quarter basis, it posted a rise of 11% in the net profit and 4.2% rise in the revenues.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,427, up Rs 46.35, or 3.36% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 9:49 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,455.00 and low of Rs 1,412.10. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 47,536.

In the earlier session, the shares declined 1.38%, or Rs 19.3, at Rs 1,380.65.

Currently, the stock is trading down 17.27% from its 52-week high of Rs 1,724.95 and above 82.32% over the 52-week low of Rs 782.70.
