Tata Steel reported on Wednesday a rise of 6% in sales during fourth quarter to 2.27 million tones. Saleable steel production increased by 7% in Q4 to 2.26 million tones.
 
Hot metal production went up 8% at 2.45 million tons in Q3.  Crude steel production also witnessed a rise of 8% to 2.29 million tons in Q4.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.6, or 1.37%, to trade at Rs 414. The total volume of shares traded was 187,724 at the BSE (11.08 a.m., Wednesday).
