Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in Adani Power. FIIs shareholding increased 30 basis points to 6.84% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 6.54% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors' (DIIs) shareholding went down to 0.58% at the end of March 2014 quarter from 0.63% as on Dec. 31, 2013.
Under DIIs, financial institutions / banks held maximum stake of 0.56% while mutual funds / UTI held 0.02% stake.
Meanwhile, promoter and promoter group shareholding was unchanged at 75% at the end of March 2014 quarter.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.55, or 2.92%, to trade at Rs 54.55. The total volume of shares traded was 760,180 at the BSE (10.46 a.m., Wednesday).
